What are my rights as a tenant? What if the house is put up for sale? I let people here without a ok
I have lived here .. 6 years never had a complaint from the owner. She died and now the daughter is. want to sell .. Posted a 4-selling poster in the courtyard and contained no notice to me. I'm told that will have 24 hours notice before showing that there may be missing. I do not want strangers in my house. Is there any way to prevent intrusion at least until you can live a 30-day notice to vacate?
You really need to read the lease and find out. Our lease states that if you decide to sell, will notify the tenant and start to show the property. It may be a little inconvenient, but the way the market is, not I doubt it will have much traffic. You should also check your lease to find out about the vacancy announcement for you and the owner. In Florida, if we sell, the new owner must honor the current lease.
