How can an outbound flight is much more expensive than a round trip ticket?
What logic used in the manufacture of the airline tickets more expensive way round? I recently tried to book one-way flight, and was almost $ 300 more than the corresponding roundtrip ticket. I have no problem at all with booking a roundtrip flight and simply did not "back", but why do companies put the air ticket so expensive? There is less travel involved if only fly in one direction and not return?
There are a couple of reasons and has nothing to do with food. First, are aimed at people who absolutely need a one way ticket. Next by charging a higher price for 1-way ticket they may want to buy a roundtrip ticket. Suppose you pay a lower rate for a 1-way ticket purchase only a 1-way ticket, but if they charge more by 1-way ticket will end up buying a roundtrip ticket. Suppose a 1-way ticket was $ 200 and R $ 400 will buy a 1-way ticket, but now if they charge $ 600 for 1-way ticket is spending $ 400 to buy a RT. Since the planes trying to overbooking their flights are glad you do not use the seat return. Plus as their aircraft near the capacity they can charge more, because there are fewer places available.
