How long should I wait to sit in traffic for hours during rush hour in long island?
I am writing to Nassau County tomorrow New Jersey, and are ready to reach Long Island law around 7-7:30 am. I gotta get to my destination by 9 am, we will be able to shoot to traffic rush hour? Any suggestions for best / fastest route possible?
Long Island NYC traffic starts to pick up about 6 (to the island). Depending distance in Nassau, I would be plenty of time. The problem is that if you were to come to lie just before 6 am, then you could go too early. But if you were to come to lie just after lie can spend hours in traffic. === If coming from North Jersey, take the GWB and then the Cross Bronx Expressway to Whitestone Bridge or Throgs Neck Bridge. Then follow the signs to LIE (if you go to the northern coast). Or jump LIE and take the Cross Island to Southern State Parkway (if you go to the coast south) from the South or in central Jersey, take the Lincoln Tunnel, crossing the Manhattan (west) on the 34th – then, in mid-town tunnel. Now you are in Qns. This takes you directly to lie. If you are going to stay on the north coast of lies, if you go south toward the coast, get on the LIE form the Cross Island (from 5 to 10 miles on a lie – never measured) State Parkway south of Good Luck … PS I live 5 minutes from LIEPPS If there is an accident on the road, all bets are off.
